I did not know I can find such a beautiful town, as Izmir in Turkey...
we reached on Friday evening in an imposant and elegant hotel on its name Vilayetler which was situated at 5 minutes near the sea...
In the morning it started to rain strongly. Our destination after the rich breakfast, was direclty to the sister's appartement. We remembered that Babuji is helping us to focus our mind to the work.
From the first day until the last, I was impressed by the good organisation of the new persons. We were three preceptors on first day, and four on Saturday. We had each of us an abhyasi for the sitting per hour. Sister Sarpil from Izmir, which was a very warm loving host, organised 30 people per day for getting a sitting or an introductionary sitting.
The history of Sahaj Marg in this town started to be written last year, during the month of December, when an abhyasis introduced Sahaj Marg practice of meditation to 50 people present at the International Center of Sports in Izmir. After only one hour of presentation, about 30 of them decided to start.
It was our turn to be there during this month, so me, Sr.Clara, Sr. Keetri gave about 10 sittings on Friday and same on Saturday, when also Br. Stan joined. For the group meditation on Sunday there were about 25 practicants attending and this happened in Sr. Serpil's living room. I was touched when I saw they kept coming and the room was filling more and more. My heart was joyful to take part in this wonderful experience which is Master's work: giving birth of a new center. Some tears appeared in my eyes.
The main message I have learnt from this unforgetable trip is: the deep understanding on what love for humanity could be. This gives you enourmous courage and determination to work and to give, to be a giver, as Nature is. Almighty prepared the hearts of these brothers and sisters and the miracle of the natural path happened.
I am grateful for this wonderful experience. I have seen many new faces with smiles, many hugs from the beautiful hearts and all these decorated with the charming nature: palms, seagulls and the eternally silent Mediteranean Sea.
